Patty worked at VNA Health Care for 30 years before establishing Aging Better At Home, LLC.. It was her life's dream to open her own agency to be able to provide high quality, in-home care for Seniors and others who she felt would thrive in their "own home" environment. Patty was passionate about helping others... that was the kindhearted "angel on earth" person that she was. Patty passed away in 2021 but her caring nature and "heart of gold" lives on in her legacy, our agency.
Nicole is the Owner of Aging Better At Home and oversees our entire agency. Nicole was a team coordinator for VNA Health Care while attending college. Nicole earned her nursing degree in 2011, and has extensive experience in a myriad of Health Care settings including Short-Term Rehab, Home Health, Hospice and Hospital. Nicole currently matains her nursing degree working in a supervisory position. Since her mom Patty's passing, Nicole keeps her mother's legacy alive by insuring that our agency continues to provide the same high quality of care and maintains the same high standards set forth by her mother.
PJ has over 17 years of experience in the health care field. She started as a Home Health Aide for VNA Health Care and was subsequently selected to work in the VNA office as a Patient Care Scheduler. She was then promoted to Supervisor of the Schedulers and Care Coordinators, a position which she held until her retirement from VNA. After a very brief retirement PJ came to our agency as our Client Care Manager.
In-home care focuses on helping seniors with the daily activities of living. These are tasks we all perform each day to stay healthy and engaged with life. At Aging Better At Home, LLC., we recognize that each individual client's needs are varied. That's why one of our supervisors will visit the home to meet with each new client and their family so that we can collaboratively discuss and evaluate the client's specific needs. This introductory meeting helps us to match our caregivers to the individual client’s personality, functional ability and household dynamics. Our initial meeting also allows all stakeholders to give input and specify exactly what their expectations are for the caregiver.
